• rewriting the xml data import (from Australia government website)(xml → mysql) process to use PHP5 SimpleXML technology rather than the old school PHP4 preg_match style.
• the data import also involved a complex daylight savings adjustment routine to accommodate all the different states time zones and auto adjust for all the future daylight savings
• Created new automatic data checking to ensure that all dates had all the required tide information
• Make major adjustments to the design to make the design vision of Tide Times
