Web site development

I develop great websites of all sizes and shapes, from small business 'portfolio' style sites, to blogs, to fancy ecommerce websites. Cost

The cost of a normal website is similar to the cost of a decent business suit. For an 'Off the shelf' website with minimal customisation its $1,000 (AUD/USD). For a 'Tailored' website where a standard website has customised with professional photography, custom components, or basic ecommerce features its $2,000 (AUD/USD). For a 'Designer' website where its all custom, including photos, copy, highly individual visual design its $5,000 (AUD/USD).

Examples

A few examples websites I have developed are listed below:

SimpleInvoices.org : The visual design was created by Jason Strachan, I translated the desing from a photoshop concept to reality

Yapp.com.au : The visual design was by Bapple, again I worked off of photoshop mockups to implement this custom website

Mecho.com.au : For the Mecho fashion blog I created custom designed blog using Wordpress, this included development of custom Wordpress modules and settings.

Web application development

I have worked with a number of different clients to create brand new web applications for their own business needs, such as order & inventory management, competition backends, OH&S web apps just to name a few. Below are a few examples web applications:

Customised order and inventory systems

This system was an extension of the Simple Invoices application to work as an inventory and purchase order system.

A admin section for to an existing website

An existing website needed to be updated so that all the content could be edited via a simple backend admin section. For this I only made minor changes to the existing website but created an admin section where the user could easily add, edit and delete content to update their website without haveing to contact a web developer.

Simple Invoices development

As the main developer of the open source web application Simple Invoices I have created a number of extensions and custom implementation of the system. If you like Simple Invoices but really need a certain feature added or changed please get in contact with me
